Buckhead Pizza - Lins
Soo…this Buckhead Pizza place. Kinda had the feeling of a Chick-Fil-A dining room, but slightly Italian. The menu was quite promising! It spoke of glorious pizzas decked with all the usual veggie varieties plus duck conif, gyro lamb, or Atlantan steak. All labeled with witty city names like The Olympian, The Perimeter, and The Ted, a quadruple meat concoction (a playful jab at our town’s resident meathead, Mr Turner).
It was obviously our waiters second day on the job, and after some awkward suggestions we got our beer, pizza, and free garlic knots on their way.
I sank my teeth into the Smoked Midtown: marinated and grilled chicken with sun-dried tomatoes, red onions and fresh basil on a bed of smoked mozzarella. Washed it down with a Blue Moon, the most interesting thing on the beer list.
Overall, good enjoyable experience, but one I’ve had a hundred times at our little pizza joint in Vinings. At least that place has a decades worth of personality hanging on the walls.
Lin’s Rating: 15 Hmm, good pizza… Wish there was a game on, or at least those huge translucent red cups you get at a real pie place.
